Xoolon Workshops
 
A series of staff INSET days will be taking place across the country over the next 12 months. Topics covered during the day will include:

• the philosophy of the Xoolon Academy
• a hands-on guide to how Xoolon works
• how to improve pupil performance using Xoolon and Movement Dynamics
• how Xoolon links to the National Curriculum and cross curricular activities
• future developments

We have expanded our team to include two experts in their respective fields: the former GB Olympic coach and now chief sport consultant at Movement Dynamics and an Education Consultant with 28 years classroom experience, 17 years as Head of Department.

The first Xoolon workshop will take place in South Yorkshire later this month, followed by further workshops in April and May.

All schools participating in one of the workshops will receive an annual subscription for the year 2009/10.

Smartphones

We have linked up with a national telecom distributor to provide smartphones complete with free monthly usage. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the use of ICT in PE and across the curriculum.
 
Xoolon Games

We can help you arrange the Xoolon Games for your school. This can be take place in your gym, out on the field or at a major sports venue such as the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield where there is room to accommodate all staff, parents and students who wish to watch and support. A number of schools across the country have organised Xoolon Games in the coming weeks including Westfield Sports College in Sheffield and Downend Technology College in Bristol.
